My Sunday Photo 13th September 2015

As summer ends, one of the highlights to get me over losing my favourite season, is my second favorite season, Autumn.

I love the garden and have been trying to grow, butterfly, moth friendly plants and encourage more garden friendly insects in. So far only a few butterflies species but the moths and dragonflies have been pretty good. This picture I am happy with as it was at night, I had the camera in hand as  moths rarely stay for very long anywhere at night, especially if the outdoor light is on, they usually land near  the light, making it tricky to get a good picture,so this was a very lucky shot.
I have seen a few hummingbird bee moths too hoping to get a photo, but no hopes up as they are far too fast to capture on film. So I will be content that our garden is feeding some real pretty creatures.

Autumn is my third favourite season - after summer and spring. It's getting too close to winter for my liking!

  7. I love taking pictures of wildlife or doing landscapes. I need to do more landscapes but I can't wait for the autumn leave to start falling.
