Win a Slim+Trim Kiqplan. Giveaway

Fitness in summer always rears its lovely head and as most of us wear less layers we may notice the extra lady or man lumps and bumps and want to shed a few pounds.
Then there are the soon to be mumma's who need to have a bump in the right place but want to keep the little bump healthy. Finally the mummas who have the baby in arms and want to shed the other 'baby bump' that may be lingering.

Kiqplan, the line of 12-week personalised training plans from Fitbug Ltd., have released some fitness apps tailored specifically for men and women of all sizes or stages who want to shape up and look their best.

Created by personal trainers, dieticians and qualified fitness experts, the apps are designed to work in tandem with most smart phones and leading fitness-trackers, including Fitbug, Jawbone, Fitbit, Misfit, Nike+, iHealth and more.

Kiqplan translates the data it receives from your device, and provides you with a personalised training plan, including “how-to” workout videos, nutritional advice, healthy recipes, sleep and step targets, plus much more.

Kiqplan differs from other fitness apps on the market by using the real data it receives daily, and turning it into a personal and understandable 12-week training programme that works with you every step of the way. In addition, Slim and Trim will provide lifestyle tracking of sleep, weight, alcohol consumption and water intake, weekly schedules that include your workouts for the week, customised targets, tips, articles and recipes, and motivational rewards and badges for added encouragement.

Healthy Baby Bump

Healthy Baby Bump is designed for women in their 1st or 2nd trimester of pregnancy and is broken up into two phases. The first is predominantly for women in their first trimester and focuses on maintaining strength in the upper and lower body. It will help ensure the body can cope with the musculoskeletal changes that occur during pregnancy, whilst maintaining muscular strength and overall fitness. The second phase is for women entering their second trimester and consists of exercises that are safe to perform and take into account postural changes that have occurred as the baby grows.
The workouts are designed to boost energy levels, reduce the risk of lower back pain, a common problem during pregnancy, and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, which become stretched when giving birth.
Research shows that the fitter women are during pregnancy, the better able they are to cope with labour and giving birth. It also helps women return to their pre-pregnancy weight/shape after the baby has been born.

Goodbye Baby Bump

Goodbye Baby Bump is designed for post-natal women who have been given the all clear from their doctor to begin an exercise programme. It contains exercises that are safe to do, not too exhausting, and will help the body recover from labour and the postural and physiological changes that occur during pregnancy.
The workouts are divided into four phases. The first phase is a very gentle workout using light weights to get the upper and lower body used to exercising again. The exercises are simple to perform and include a gentle core section designed to switch that core back on. The second phase builds on the first, and includes slightly more challenging exercises and heavier weights.
The third phase is a total body circuit workout designed to enhance overall body tone and increase fitness levels whilst not being exhausting. Finally, the last phase is a PHA (peripheral heart action) circuit which will get the blood pumping around the body, maximising calorie burn, increasing fitness levels and help to shift some of that stored body fat.

Slim and Trim

Slim and Trim is a weight loss plan designed for women who are either new to exercise or returning after a break. The programme moves through 3 phases, starting with a full body workout that targets large muscle groups in order to tone the whole body and maximise calorie burn during the workout. The second phase targets muscles with a higher intensity and volume, and requires slightly heavier weights to enable users to reap the benefits of increasing muscle tone to burn calories while resting. The final phase is a high intensity circuit-based workout, created to increase fitness levels, stamina, and provide all-over toning, with a particular emphasis on the legs, bum and tum.

Other Kiqplan apps include Bikini Hot plus two for dad in the form of Beer Belly Blaster and Sun's Out Guns Out.

  4. I would like to win this for my hubby! I was so fed up of my spare tyre this year that I signed up to the gym and have become a bit of a body pump addict - leaving my husband moaning every day about his beer belly! This would give him the incentive and the confidence to get his bum off the couch!
