Plantabox has to be one of the nicest feature and reviews I have carried out this year.
I am happy to be working with them again this Christmas. I am afraid its going to be a bit of a photo fest as Plantabox asked me to pick out the gifts I liked and settle on one to review.
To reward you for ploughing through my review Plantabox are also giving readers a discount, exclusive to Given To Distracting Others and for one lucky reader the chance to own a personalised large crate, they even will add a liner and wheels if the winner wants!
In summer I reviewed a small herb crate which actually is quite large, the above is a recipe later on in the year and as you can see the herbs have flourished, it has been really pleasurable to pick herbs, but really special to have my name on the crate. ideal for outdoors and on the windowsill for winter cooking, its much loved and used.
Its been admired by friends and as a result I have purchased a small crate, complete with a liner, cyclamen bulbs and soil to enjoy for a dear friend celebrating her 60th birthday. She has plans to make it a feature in each season, its truly a gift that keeps on giving pleasure. I feel the ability to personalise these just is that extra bit special.
The crates can be used for all manner of uses, not just outdoors. Indoor for any manner of use, storage for children's toys, craft storage and then for those special occasions.
Its not just crates, Plantabox have made trays, pet beds, memory boxes, wheeled log stores, personalised wall plaques, shelves, coffee tables and much more. Personalisation is included in the price, so no hidden charges.
Christmas at Plantabox is well and truly covered too.
They have some gorgeous gift ideas this season and with the festive holly and red colours for some crates they are perfect for presents under the tree. Again personalised with any name or message you choose.
The trays are gorgeous, I would be happy to receive this on Christmas morning and also can be personalised for Father Christmas and Rudolph.
How about a Tree crate with your name on, the crates have liners so they are protected.
Or Dad's named hamper filled with his favourite things.
Finally there is even a Christmas tree
Obviously there are lots of gift ideas for all year round, I decided to pick a crate for all year round and then it can be used at Christmas I plan to put it under the tree with tinsel and add more presents.
The personalisation is up to 24 characters per line on the large crates, you can add hearts, butterflies, wine goblets for a wedding gift.
I chose our name and the date Chris and I first went out, and to represent the whole family name. The shade is Rustic Oak, far better looking than in my picture above.
Afterward Christmas it will be used for all manner of storage. I have decided it may be handy for keepsakes, just as a decorative piece for the living room, handy for indoor shoes and I can even plant it all up. Chris is trying to commandeer ours for a beer crate! It is not happening!
The crate is really sturdy, very strong, yet light as well, if the winner is considering it for heavy items the wheels would be useful and also if used in the garden filled with plants and soil I would have considered wheels too.
This product was provided to me free of charge from the company in order to review it. However the opinions expressed in this review are independent and my own.
