Devon Hampers Review

Devon Hampers asked if I would like to take a look at their hampers, and being a real picnic fanatic, happily agreed. Devon Hampers are a family owned and operated business based in Lifton, West Devon and have long been known for the quality of their food and friendly service.

The hampers can be filled with chocolates, cheese, cider, ales and many other goodies, you can choose from a ready made hamper or design your own.

With the sun making a welcome appearance, thoughts are turning to summer days, trips to the seaside and summer holidays.

We make a real day out and often take our own food to eat. A pretty picnic hamper filled with goodies, makes a day out so much more memorable.

Chris and I do not get out that often with caring for Granny but having a large garden, we aim to have a few picnics complete with a hamper here, she will love it too.

I was sent an Devon Cream Tea for two, this can be sent boxed, a box with print or for that special treat, a proper picnic basket. The price starts from £11.70 which I find for a special day out is a very good price and actually cheaper than a tea room cream tea. If you send flowers through the post, I think this would may a nice change for the recipient.

Inside the Cream Tea for Two Hamper there are 4 Devon Scone Company scones, lovely plump scones, nice to see they are lightly baked, a tub of Langage Farm Clotted Cream 113g and a jar of The Devon Scone Company Strawberry Jam.

The scones are light and fluffy, the jam really tasty, like a homemade jar and we loved the thick clotted cream, a perfect treat all the way from Devon.

Just could do with sitting in Dawlish watching the Black swans and polishing off this scrumptious cream tea!

Devon Hampers and I will be back with a lovely giveaway for that special Dad this Fathers Day very soon.

For now have a browse at all the fab gift ideas and treats for you.

    1. I think they are very reasonably priced. Worth having the basket as it can be used over and over and great for home decor too.

    1. There are some good ones, I always expected the prices to be high, but this is cheaper than a bouquet in a supermarket let alone via delivery!
