I Love My Weekly Roundup

Welcome to my first I Love My Round Up its a fabulous idea hosted by Futures and Life in a Break Down  and basically its a chance to share favourite things in the last two weeks. The questions will change each week and I have been hopping around looking at the other posts involved. Click the badge at the bottom if  you want to join in the fun!

1. What’s your favourite post you have posted this past fortnight?
This has to be my first Freebie Friday post, it was lovely to see the support from bloggers and from readers who love a good giveaway or free sample.

2. Share with us a post you have loved reading from someone else this past fortnight.

Not sure loved is the right word, but a really poignant 'REAL' post is from Mummy Never Sleeps. Made me want to scream at the inadequacies of the so called caring professions too.

3. Do you have any blogging goals for this year – if you do what are they?

Honestly to put the 'Jo' back in my blogging 'Mojo' I have had a tough time caring for a relative around the clock, losing my Mum, other family worries. I am an upbeat kinda of woman, but taken a bit of a kicking lately and blogging has had to take a back seat. My blog is something I hold dear and I just want to make it great again.

4. Do you celebrate Valentines? If so what are you / would you like to be doing this year?

I got engaged 21 years ago on Valentines Day, its a really special day and we used to go away or go out for a fancy meal. This year as a carer, I am housebound, however we are cooking a lovely meal, will snuggle up. eat chocs, drink some bubbly and watch something slushy.

5. What song have you been dancing too lately?

I dance alone mainly, this is because I am shy ;) and I have to say the one I have been moving to a lot is a result of seeing another woman dancing. This makes me smile, she seems like she has not a care in the world and the song by Alesha Dixon 'Knockdown' fits me at the moment, I'm getting up!!
Everybody in the place say what now
Ya souls feeling shot down
Lucks out
But ya gotta carry on
Speed it up now

Round Up

  2. This is a great idea for a post! :)

  3. An intriguing discussion is worth comment. I do think that you ought to publish more about this issue, it might not be a
taboo subject but usually people do not talk about
these issues. To the next! Best wishes!!
