Next “I’m Supporting” Team GB and Paralympics GB

I was in London last weekend and the shops and streets are really starting to come alive with not only the upcoming Royal Jubilee but the Olympic Games. Just in case you have been on a desert island we are this years host.

Lots of promotional goodies have been coming my way and the whole family has been getting involved in trying Union Jack themed goodies and Olympic memorabilia.

One such goodie is the “I’m Supporting” campaign in conjunction with Next’s official Team GB and Paralympics GB Supporters’ Scarves.

The scarves have been designed by Next as part of their support for London 2012 and are the must have item of the summer! Even the Duchess of Cambridge is wearing a supporters scarf!

(All profits from the sale of the scarves will be donated to the British Olympic Association - helping British Olympic and Paralympic athletes deliver their best performance at London 2012 and beyond.)

Keep reading for your chance to show your support and win weekly prizes with the Next  Wear it, Wave it, Win with it!

I received one along with others around the blogosphere to show our support for the Association and have a bit of fashion fun by styling the scarf in different ways. Luckily I have a handy assistant who is in fact involved with the Paralympics already!

Paige, is off to see the stadium next week and as she is in college studying to be a sports teacher, is thrilled. She is more excited by the Paralympics as she is actually coaching  a local team event  with disabled children called Boccia .

So with this in mind and a big supporter of the games she seemed the best model for the scarf. We had a great time in the sun styling it and yet again she has pinched it to display on her wrist when she coaches next.

Erm not very inventive!!

We loved this look on her shorts.

Team GB!!!!!!
From Ooh la la!

To Oh No!!

Its a really cool scarf, we had lots of fun styling it and its a great accessory for the upcoming games!

If you buy the scarf, don't forget to have a go at winning some fab prizes on the Next website.

Next’s ‘Wear it, Wave it and Win’ prize draw page http://bit.ly/GILaEm  has all the details about how to purchase a scarf and then be entered into weekly draws.

  3. I'm loving the Olympics & Paralympics, we have friend who are representing us in Archery, Charlotte, Alison & Chris in Olympics & Danielle (who we've known since she was 4) & John in the Paralympics. So hopefully we will get a commentator who knows something about our sport & we will be able to cheer them on without the sound down. ITs so annoying that when we actually get coverage of our minority sport they get someone to commentate who knows nothing & calls everything by the wrong name - ie we don't hit the bulls eye, thats darts, we hit the gold/centre/middle, but you wait for it they'll say bullseye loads of times & drive us mad! LOL.

  5. I'm so excited about the olympics! I've volunteered to be an ambassador for my home city (Coventry) when the olympic football comes to town. I've been for my ambassador training and now I'm raring to go. My first bit of 'hosting' will be when the olympic torch relay comes through the city on 1st and 2nd July. I'm not sure which time slot I'll be covering yet but I'm really looking forward to this once in a lifetime opportunity!
At my training the absolutely gorgeous ex-olympic athlete Daniel Caines was a motivational speaker, he definitely motivated me (if you know what I mean ;-)
